   Of course, there is a whole representational system that is worked out for transit systems in space – all flows and interruptions. Helen Liggett has a whole bit on the morning traffic report in “Urban Encounters” that might be useful for thinking about types of cognitive mapping that emerge from new technologies.

   This could also easily dovetail into a project that focuses on maps and unequal distribution – where does the bus go and why?
