HPC’s Make a Smart Thing Challenge

July 3rd, 2012

With support from the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab at UVic, the Humanities Physical Computing Research Group (HPC) just issued its “Make a Smart Thing” challenge (PDF) for 2012-13. We’ll start developing projects in mid-July, with plans to build throughout the upcoming academic year. Right now, projects include work with line sensors, motion sensors, ethernet shields, motor shields, and the translation of analog audio into electronic text.
